Our Story

HydroMetal was founded in 1998 with a single purpose: to raise the standard of aluminum manufacturing in Egypt and across the region. What began as a focused extrusion operation has grown into a fully integrated aluminum solutions provider — covering extrusion, casting, die manufacturing, surface treatment, and precision machining under one roof.

Today, HydroMetal operates from a state-of-the-art facility in Abu Rawash Industrial Zone, serving clients across 40+ countries. Our team of engineers, metallurgists, and production specialists brings decades of combined expertise to every project — from initial concept to final delivery.

1999

Foundation & First Extrusion Line

Established with a single extrusion press and 12 engineers. First commercial order delivered within six months.

2005

ISO 9001 Certification & Export Launch

Achieved ISO 9001 certification and began exporting to regional markets, opening international partnerships.

2012

New Capital Projects & Expansion

Secured landmark contracts. Expanded with two new extrusion lines and a dedicated anodizing plant.

2018

Advanced Tooling & R&D Center

Launched in-house R&D and tooling division — full-cycle mold design, simulation, and rapid prototyping.

2024

Digital Manufacturing & Smart Factory

Invested in Industry 4.0 — real-time QC monitoring, ERP integration, and automated inspection systems.
